Responsibilities and
basis of report
As Ihe charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charilies Acl 2011
{'the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in ¢arying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)Ibl of the Act.
Independent tThe charity's gross income ex￿eded £25,000 and l am qualified to
examiner's statement undertake Ihe examination by being a qualified member of IICAEW].
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come lo my attention in connection with the examination (other than that

The objects of the Club shall be the development and practice of swimming, for its members
and shall. where appropriate, be to compete.
The main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these DbjectSve5 are as follows,.

Achlevementsand performance
When A5COt Aoyals was forrned in 2019, the club's aim w35 simple.. to create a more acce55ible pathway Into
tompetitlve swimmlnH. Llttle dad we know one of our blg8est challenges would arrlve so qulckly.
Through socially distanced sessions and long breaks ID tralnlng, we perseverod. By 2021, we were slowlv
returning to normality, holding our first meetlng that November at Bracknell Leisure Centre albelt without
5peciaror5 as wo cmerged from the pandemic.
By 2022, we had grown to two squads and two coache5. That year, we achieved a 5i&nifSLant milestone bv
participaling in the Countychampionships Wlth two glrls, 12-13 years relay teams and six indSvldual quallfying
swimmers.
Since then, Asiot Royals have gone from srrength to strength. Thanks to the hard work and passion of
everyone Involved. the result5 Speak for themselvcs..
For the January 2025 County Championship5, the Club has 16 relay team5 acros5 three age groups and an
Incredible 80 Individual qualified 5WIrnS.
Our ctsaching team has grown to six regular coache5, SUPPOrting six f¢intastiC 5quad% of swimrners.
Behind the scenes, we are fortunate to have an exceptional nelwork ol volunieers. including two dedicated
parents who mènage welfare and coordlnète essential support.

It is the intention of the Trustees to build reserves equal to lour months of operational costs.
The trustees have assEssed the risks to which charity is exposed and ale satisfied that 5VStems are in
place to mitigate the chall8nges arising from the residual impact of the pandemic and the cost of the
livlng crlsi5 now faung the coiEntry.
