## **Woolwell In Bloom Annual Report** 

## **AGM Held on 21 November 2025** 

**This year we have been very lucky with our fund raising events, donations and grants.** 

**We have been very successful again with our entry into Southwest in Bloom, gaining Gold for a second year. A few of us attended the awards ceremony where we listened to some very inspiring talks.** 

**We continue to have support from our local Parish Council for our projects but sadly nothing in the way of a monetary donation.** 

**A few of us attended the RHS seminar in March, where we gained some knowledge and some new ideas.** 

**We celebrated our success for 2024 with the Woolwell Centre hosting a community party in the spring which was well attended by the local residents.** 

**We were also awarded a certificate by South Hams District Council in recognition our work in supporting the environment within our community.** 

**Our annual insurance has increased by £5.** 

**In January 2025 we started a junior bloomer section which has been very successful, especially on judging day when the juniors dug up their potatoes in front of the RHS Judges.** 

**With no major projects this year, we focused on keeping the displays looking lovely which was especially challenging during a very dry and warm spring and summer.**
