StarShine Women's Foundation advances the wellbeing, resilience, and rights of Congolese women and girls in the DRCongo and the diaspora in England and Wales through emergency response and long-term sustainable development, including psychosocial support, education, skills training, economic empowerment, and rights-based advocacy, to strengthen community participation and deliver lasting change.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:a) To Relieve Poverty Among Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Migrant Workers And Their Dependants Especially (but Not Limited To) Those Of African Descent Living In England And Wales By Providing Interpreting/translating/advocacy/ Health And Housing And Welfare Benefits Advice And Interview Techniques Adviceb) To Promote Equality And Diversity In Democratic Republic Of The Congo And To Eliminate Gender Discrimination For The Public Benefit Including (but Without Limitation) By Raising Awareness Of All Aspects Of Discrimination In Society By Publications, Lectures, Use Of The Media, Public Advocacy And Other Means Of Communication.
