This year has been another successful and enjoyable year.
The plant sale broke last year's record by raising £1062.
The summer BBQ, well supported by members of the community ani,
enjoyed by all. The committee provided the food from the proceeds of the
plant sale. Thanks go to MPH who donated the hire of the barbecue.
The Apple juicing had fewer customers and smaller quantity of apples.
Thanks to Cwm Arian who provided the equipment for the juicing. The
refreshments raised about the same as previous years.
In November we held a social eveningwith a guest speaker talking about
the shipwrecks around the coast. This evening was very successful with the
largest crowd seen in the hall for a longtime.
In December we organised"Carols around the Tree". Due to the weather
this was held indoors. The crowd was smaller than in the previous year but
the evening was enjoyed by alL
The bookings Yor the School House were good forthe Spfing and summer
but fewer in the autumn.
To keep the house up to standard, the bedding and lounge curtains were
replaced readyfor 2025 bookings.
In February the bees. nest on the gable end of the roof was removed on
health and safety grounds.
