Sophie's Stars provided peer to peer support
to families and friends of those with can￿r
during this time period. We did this via online
mechanisms, mostEy on an individual basis.
We hosted group walks where people were
invited to walk and talk in order to build a
community of people going through similar
experien￿.
Sophie's Stars launthed the Sophie's Smile
box in January 2024. This is a small box of
items that are gifted as a care package to
famity and loved ones of those with a cancer
diagnosis. The charity built the infrastructure
to enable this new initiative to commen￿,

Achievements and Perfomiance
Sophie's Stars launched the Sophie's Smile
box which is becoming the flagship servi
of the tharity. As part of this we are building
relationships with NHS trusts, GP practices
and local councils which is really broadening
our target audien￿ and providing new
oppothnities to benefit Ihe public. As a small
charity this awareness arHJ engagement
work is vital and allow￿ us to better serve our
users. We have re￿iVed sotne ex￿lIent
feedback about the boxes. which are being
gifted from people with cancer to their family
and loved ones. The charity has always
aimed to recognise the cnntribution from
family in a (xncer diagnosis and this service
