Report of the Trustees for tho y￿r ended V April 2025
The trustees present their report together with the accounts of the charity for the year ended 06 April
2025. The trustees have adopted the provisi0r￿ of the Statement of Recommended Practice -
ISORP FRS 102) and The Charities Act 2011. The charity has referred to ts guidance in the Charity
Commission's general guidance on public beneffts when reviewing the aim and objectives and in
planning the charity's future activtlies. In particular, the trustees consider how planned activities will
contribute to the aims and objectives set.

number 1192335.

The Iru8tees are responsible for the management of risks faced by the tharity. The trustees have
undertaken a full risk a88888ment of the organisation and have introduced variou8 key controls.
These control8 are ￿vieWed annually.
The trustees are sati$fJed that the major risks identified have been adequately mitigated where
necessary. It is recognlzad that systems can only provide rea80nable but not ab801ute assurance
that major risks have been adequately managed.

1. To promote the Christian religion.
2. Advancing the Christi8n farth by holding prayer sessions. lectures and celebrating ffjligious
festivals.
3. The relief of poverty, sickness, and distress among the Christian community in L¢x)don.
Rovlw of actlvltles and public b•nefft
The results for the year urKler review are as Sh￿*￿ in the attached Financial Statements. The Charty
runs v￿aklY prayer sessions for the local community. special prayer $888ions are held for every
Christian religious festtval,. regular lectures are organised, and hand￿t given to promote the
Christian faith,. pastoral care are provided to the distressed or those who lost close relatives,.
Charity as w811 assist those in financial distress.
The above activities dearly demonstrate the charity has aGhieved its objectives set and the

Christian community and society at large are tenefitting from the wide range of activitieslseprfices
provided by the charity

The Charity is planning ta distribute the bible to all attendees and hold lectures for the young
generation to ensure they thoose the right path.
Various community activities are planned and held- such as older person's social events, Citizenship
classes, pastoral care serVi￿S and celebrating all Chri6tian festivals.

The charity receives donations from the loGal community to fund all the above a¢tiviti88 and
Sometimes organises fund-raising events. Funds re￿iVed for Specffic projects are posted to the
r8stri¢ted fund8 and the chanty applies the resources in accordance with the rule8 relating to Ihat
specific fund. However, the trustees are allowed to transfer the funds from specific funds to general
funds in case where Ihe tharty could not find any relevant projeds to finance. or it 18 not PO88ible to
get a reliable organisation to monitor the project.
Accountlng and r•portlng r•sponslbilitie•.
The Charitie8 Act 2011 requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year
which give a true and fair vrew of the state of affairs of the chanty and of its resutt for that year. In
preparing those financial statements the tru8tee8 shoukd follow b8St practice and:

make judgements and estimates that are reasonab58 and prudent.

The trustees are resportsible for keeping proper accounting records which disGIose with reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the tharity and enable them to ensure that the financial
Statements comply with the Charities Act 2011. The Chartlies SORP (FRS 102) and th8 provisions
of the constttution. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence.

I report on the accounts of the charty for the year ended April 2025, which are set out on pages

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The chanty's trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 aTrJ

Commission. An examinalion includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a

conceming any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evrdenGe that would
be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts presenl
true and lair view, and the report is limited to those matters set out in the slatement.

1. Prlnclpal accounting polici
The financial statements of the Trust have been prepared in accordan￿ with the Statements
of Recommended Practice (SORP - FRS 102) issued in October 2019, the Charilies Act
2011 and applicable UK GA4P. The a¢counts have been prepared on the basis of historic
costs and as a going concern.
a) Donatlons and fund accountlng
Donations received for the general purposes of the Trust are included as unrestricted
funds Dcination8 received for the purpose of educating persor6 in need and orphans,.
relieving poverty, sickness and distress caused by natural disasters, wars and conflicts
are taken to restric*ed funds. Restricted funds are to be used for the sp8crfi¢ purposes as
laid down by the donor. All donations are accounted for a8 and when received by the
Charity.

Resources expended are accounted for on an accrual basis. The irrecoverable element
of VAT 1$ included with th6 item of expense to which rt relates.
Resources expended are allocated to the particular activty wher8 the cost relates directly
to that actiwty. However. the cost of overall direction and administration of each activty,
comprising the salary and overt)ead costs of the central function, is nomally apportioned
on the basis of staff time and amount attributable to each activty. Al resources wgre spent
on activities relating to unrestricted funds in the currerrt year.
c) Depreclatlon
Deprectation of tangible fixed assets is provided on straight line basis over the exp8¢ted
useful lives of the assèts a8 follows:
