The trustees have adopted the provisions of the Stalement of Recommended Practice {SORP FRS 1021 and The Charities Ad 2011. The charity have referred to the guidancg in the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the aim and objectives and in planning the charily's future activities. In particular, the trustees consider how planned aclivilie5 will contribute to th8 aims and objectives set. Structure. Governance and Management Governing document The charity is consliluted by a constitution and registered with the Charity Commission under the charity number 1192335 Risk management The trustees are SpOnsible for the management of risks faced by the charity. The trustees have undertaken a full risk assessment of the oiganisation and have introduced various key controls. These controls are reviewed annually. The trustees are satisfied that the major risks identified have been adequately mitigated whe necessary. It is recognized that systems can only provide reasonable bul not absolute assurance that major risks have been adequately managed. Charitable objects 1. To promote the Christian religion. 2. Advancing the Christian faith By holding prayer sessions, lectures and celebrating religious festivals.. 3. The relief of poverty, sickness and distress among the Christian community in London. Review of activities and public benefit The results for the year under review are as shown in the attached Financial Statements. The Charity runs weekSy prayer sessions for the local community, special prayer sessions are held for every Christian religious festivals-, regular lectures are organised and handout given lo promote the Christian faith.. pastoral care are provided to the distressed or those who lost close relatives-. the charity as well assist those in financial dislre5S. The above activities clearly demonslrate the charity has achieved its objectives set and the

Future Development The charity is planr)ing lo distribute the bible lo all attendees and hold lectures for the young generation to ensure they choose the righl palh. Various community activities are planned and held- such as older person's social events, Citizenship classes, pastoral care services and celebrating all Christian festivals. Reserves policy The charity receives donations from the local community to fund all the above activities and sometimes organises fund raising events. Funds received for specific projects are posted to the reslricled funds and the charity applies the resour$ in accordan with the rules relating lo that specific fund. However. the truslees are allowed lo transfer the fund from specific funds lo general fund in case where the charity could not lind any relevant projects lo finance. Dr It is not possible lo get a reliable organisation to monitor the project. Accounting and reporting responsibilities The Charities Acl 2011 requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the slate of affairs of the charity and of its result for that year. In preparing those financial statements the trustees should follow best praclise and.. select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently. ake judgement and estimates that are reasonable and prudenl. follow applicable accounting slandards and the Charities SORP, disclosing and explaining any departures in the financial statements.. and 4. prepare the financial statements on a going concem basis unles5 It is inappropriate to assume that the charity will conlinue in operation. Respective responsibillties of trustees and examiner The charity s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity s Iru5tees consider that an audit is not required for this year urider section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to-. examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 lo follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act; and lo stale whether particular mallers have come to my attenlion. Basis of independent examiner's statement My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions by the Charity Comrnis5ion. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presenled with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. Principal accounting policies The financial slalements of the Trust have been ppared in accordance with the Statements of Recommended Practi ISORP FRS 102) issued in Oclober 2019, the Charilies Act 2011 and applicable UK GAAP. The accounts have been prepared on the basis of historic cost and as a going concern. a) Donations and fund accounting Donations received for the general purposes of Ihe Trust are included as unrestricted funds. Donations received for Ihe purpose of educating persons in need and orphans. relieving poverty. sickness and distress caused by natural disasters. wars and conflicts are taken to restricted funds. Restricted funds are to be used for the specific purposes as laid down by the donor. All donations are accounted for as and when received by the charity. b) Resources expended Resource5 expended are accounted for on an accrual basis. The irrecovorable element of VAT is included with the item of expense to which it relates. Resources expended are allocated lo the particular activity where the cost relates directly to that activity.
