Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	Alleviating poverty by building sustainable income generating skills centres (Enterprise Academies - EA) in developing nations. These skills centres prepare young people for gainful work and also facilitate the emergence of relevant local income generating enterprises. Our focus is initially on Sierra Leone but we believe that the EAI model can be successfully replicated in other developing nations.
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.	Para 1.17 and 1.19	Our work inherently helps the above aims with the provision of a training building, skills training, tools and other resources. The land is provided by the local community. Our first (pilot) EA has been built in Kafogo village in the Northern territory of Sierra Leone. We now support another project in Kenema which is operating successfully where two training rooms have been dedicated to the project by Pastor Emmanuel Bobor. This project continues to flourish with individual lives and families in the Kenema community gaining skills and gainful employment.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	The main training building has been completed in Kafogo but it still needs internal tiling, power cabling and a solar PV system with batteries. The charity has provided a diesel generator to produce power but due to exorbitant costs of fuel it is hoped that funding can be generated to purchase a stand alone solar PV system with sufficient power storage and supply. The young people in the community have gained new building skills whilst working with experienced local builders in the construction of our first EA building. A new training building has been completed in Kenema which hosts sewing machines and other training resources. We’ve provided more manual sewing machines for the EAI project in Kenema which are being used to train young people in tailoring and dress making skills. This continues to prove very popular amongst both male and female community members that are taking part in the training with a view to using the skills and machines we’ve supplied to generate income. Two training rooms have been provided by Pastor Emmanuel Bobor as the EAI hosting site in Kenema. Those being supported in setting up other small local enterprises are doing well and selling their produce. This includes community

members selling their palm oil in the local markets. This year hair dressing resources, leather work tools and repair kits plus a small commercial juicer for making and selling fruit juices to sell have also been supplied.

Achievements against objectives set	Para 1.41	The development of a second EA site in Kenema with the local oversight of Pastor Emmanuel Bobor has had significant impact on the pace of progress the project which serves to provide skills training and local income generating enterprise.
Performance of fundraising activities against objectives set	Para 1.41	We’re still seeking to appoint another trustee who will be responsible in part for attracting funding in future.
Investment performance against objectives	Para 1.41	Funding has mainly come from trustees directly; which was used to pay experienced builders to work with and train the young people in Kafogo in the construction of the EAI building. The charity primarily operates through facilitation and the provision of start -up resources rather than financial support. Our aim includes encouraging self determination and independence for sustainable growth and development. Our new project in Kenema is making significant progress due to the effective local oversight of Pastor Emmanuel Bobor who has trusted relational links with the community. Trustees have provided for resources for project trainees to train and set up small profitable enterprises. Trainees have come from diverse extreme circumstances. This includes providing them with a way out from drugs and other illicit damaging involvements.

We have also had enquiries from another charity in Freetown requesting registration as a further EAI project. We have been impressed by the work they already do for their local young people in making building blocks from recycled plastic material and concrete mix. Other
