"We supported the Black and Minority Ethnic communities in building resilience to climate change through our 'Together for Our Planet' program. Our 'Keep Fit, Keep Active, Practice Sports' program promotes sports activities for young and old. Additionally, we partnered with Volition Leeds and Forum Central to enhance COVID-19 vaccine uptake among lower socioeconomic groups and migrant communities."
Together for Our Planet:
I delivered 10 climate change campaigns to lower socio-economic communities, including BAME groups. I distributed over 1,500 flyers with tips on 5 core climate themes and created 3 videos to enhance awareness.
Keep Fit, Keep Active, Practice Sports:
We organized various indoor and outdoor sporting activities such as football, basketball, table tennis, dance, yoga, bowling and exercise and fitness sessions. We also engaged young people from the BAME Community in South Leeds as part of the Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebration.
Covid-19 Vaccination:
