## ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2022/23 

This is the second Annual Report of The Leonard Curtis Foundation. The Foundation was registered as a CIO on 10 November 2020, and donations and grants are received and made during each year. The annual reporting date is 30 April. The Annual Report and Accounts are filed with the Charity Commission. 

## Trustees 

The trustees throughout the period were Daniel Booth (chair), Jennifer Moore and Paula Castle. All the trustees have indicated their willingness to continue in office. 

## Objectves and Actvites 

The Foundation collects funds from the Leonard Curtis group and its staff for the purpose of making grants to independent charities throughout the United Kingdom and Channel Islands for the good of the general public and mankind. Grants have been made to numerous charities as selected by the Trustees from suggestions made by the staff of the Leonard Curtis group. 

## Achievements and Performance 

The Foundation has achieved its objective in the period to 30 April 2023 by raising £9,033 from the Leonard Curtis group and its staff. Grants of £7,308 were made to various charities and £216 was incurred on external administrative costs. The surplus of £1,509 is added to reserves brought forward of £107 leaving £1,616 remaining to be carried forward in reserves. 

The Foundation will continue to receive donations from the Leonard Curtis group and its staff and make grants to selected charities. 

The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees’ report above.
