TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, DISTRESS AND SUFFERING AMONG POOR PEOPLE, ORPHANS, WIDOWS, VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS AND OTHER PEOPLE IN NEED BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, MAKING GRANTS OR LOANS FOR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND FACILITIES, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF FOOD, CLEAN WATER, CLOTHING, COSTS FOR ATTENDING SCHOOL AND LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMMES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SAID PERSONS;

During the period of 2024, some of the achievements in Cameroon and Nigeria include:
- Building 2 community centres in Cameroon
- Building 1 community centre in Nigeria
- Supported 3 education centres and Madrassas
- 13 Water pumps installed
- distributed over 4000 food packs
- distributed 300 hot meals during the month of Ramadan in refugees camp to orphans
- 1,500 Qurbani meat distribution
- provided 10 hectares of land in the refugees camp of Lolo for agricultural farming benefiting 2,500 people to support them be self-sufficient
- supported schooling of 29 students at primary and secondary levels, and 5 university students supported
- provided hardship grants to the needy and supported 100 widows with grants for basic necessities
- supported 75 sick persons with medical aid
- supported 5 refugees for eye surgery for cataracts
- paid 6 teachers' salaries to provide free education for refugees children and orphans in the camps in Cameroon.
The trustees have had due regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit and are satisfied that they are advancing Islam by the establishment of Islamic facilities and relieving financial hardship by the provision of clean water, food, educational facilities, medical aid and other activities that benefit the needy.

expenditure of £148,992 (2023:£135,840) of which the majority was grants
of £142,661 for the year. This generated a surplus of £8,953. Total funds
held at the end of the period was £10,541 which will be used for future
charitable expenditure. The trustees have a policy not to hold reserves
beyond using the surplus for future expenditure.|
