**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC INCLUDING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE LIVES OF BLACK PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, MEETINGS, SCHOOL PROGRAMMES, READING GROUPS AND LIBRARY FACILITIES AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT.

**Activities:** To advance the education of the public including children and young people in the lives of black people in particular but not exclusively by the provision of workshops, seminars, meetings, school programmes, reading groups and library facilities and in such other ways as the trustees see fit.
