**2025 AGM Chair’s Report**
I am pleased to report that SHWP’s activities in support of the health and wellbeing needs of the Stour community have continued to grow.
The Dr Sue Pritchard Memorial Challenge events have expanded in number and range with over 700 sessions held last year.
Community Hubs play an important role and the very popular Shipston Community Warm Hub continued to flourish. In addition, the charity worked with 7 villages in the Stour area.
A series of short term, focused, funding streams have enabled SHWP to provide the Dr Sue Pritchard Memorial Challenges and other activities free of charge. This funding will come to an end in the 1[st] quarter of 2025. Plans have been prepared to ensure that the current activities can continue on a self funding basis. The drop in receipts in 2024 compared to 2023 reflects the very challenging financial climate facing charities at the present time. It is worth noting that SHWP has raised over £160,000 since its inception in 2020 to support the Stour community.
Last year my report identified the need for a `step change` in the scale of the charity’s activities to meet the increasing demands for health and wellbeing support for the Stour community. SHWP, by working with other health care partners, will provide a vital link with the Stour communitythe very essence of partnership working. This `step change`, SHWP’s `Growing the Future` project will involve the employment of a full time Chief Executive and two part-time Community Builders. Currently all the work is being done by volunteers and one part time Community Builder. Longer term, 3 year, funding will be required. Part funding on this basis was achieved from two local funds and a major bid submitted to the National Lottery I am pleased to say that we learned in early 2025 that the bid, submitted in 2024, was successful. The National Lottery has granted SHWP £186,000 over three years. This means that whilst further funding will still be required, implementation of the `Growing the Future` project can now commence.
I am pleased to report that Andrew Revell has accepted the invitation to become a SHWP trustee. Andrew will bring a wealth of experience and skills at a time of rapid expansion in our operations.
I am sorry to report that Lou Harvey has decided to step down as a Trustee but has pledged her ongoing support for the charity. I would like to thank Lou, one of our founder trustees, for all her support.
SHWP enters 2025 in a strong position. It has a unique role in supporting its partners in providing members of the Stour community with real opportunities for improving their health and wellbeing.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity {Ihe Trust.) for the year ended 31 December 2024
Responsibilities and As the charity tnjstees of the Trust. you are responsible for the preparation

2011 ('the Act-)-
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 ofthe 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination. I
