2025 saw Mrs Fran Grimsdell havingto arrange placement of a number ofthe breed in
new homes, the majoritywere due to owners becoming ill or sadly, dying. Due to the
kindness of ourteam of helpers, home visits were conducted and movement of dogs
made without any costto the Charity allowing the expenditure to remain low. Thankfully,
Fran's diligence in finding the suitable homes has resulted in all being settled and loved.
Unlike the previous year, 2025 passed without ESAW havingto contribute to any
veterinary treatment.
The Charity are immensely gratefulto people making regular donations, to the ladies
who work so hard raisingfunds and to families who make donations in memory of loved
ones. Also, the Charity acknowledges and thanks the English Setter devotees who are
prepared to provide forever homes. ESAW could notfunction without all of those
mentioned.
ESAW remains there to supportthe breed and owners are welcome and encouraged to
contact any of our Trustees in confidence, if advise or help is required.
