**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND TO PROMOTE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF THE HISTORY, ARCHAEOLOGY AND CULTURE OF THE NILE VALLEY AND SURROUNDING REGIONS, BY SUPPORT OF THE PETRIE MUSEUM OF EGYPTIAN ARCHAEOLOGY AND ITS COLLECTIONS, IN PARTICULAR BY:CONTRIBUTING TO THE CONSERVATION, SAFEKEEPING AND DISPLAY OF THE COLLECTIONS OF THE PETRIE MUSEUM AS A WHOLE AND INDIVIDUAL OBJECTS WITHIN ITSUPPORTING AND COORDINATING RESEARCH, PUBLICATION, EDUCATION, ADVERTISING AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK

**Activities:** We offer lectures and study days aiming to advance the education of the public and promote public understanding of the history, archaeology and culture of the Nile Valley and surrounding regions, and offer research and conservation grants particularly in support the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology and its collections.
