TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, YOUNG PEOPLE IN NORTHUMBERLAND, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, INCLUDING, (BUT NOT LIMITED TO): 1.1. THE PROVISION OF WORSHIP AND PRAYER MEETINGS, AND PASTORAL CARE AND OUTREACH WORK FOR YOUNG ADULTS 1.2. ANCILLARY OR INCIDENTAL EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES; AND 1.3. OTHER ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY  2 TO ADVANCE IN LIFE YOUNG PEOPLE IN NORTHUMBERLAND THROUGH: 2.1. THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; 2.2. PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.

**Activities:** The Roost exists to nurture spirituality and wellbeing with young adults in Northumberland.  We do this in schools and in our outdoor space offering support for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.  Our community days, workshops, one-to-one pastoral sessions are all orientated towards achieving these aims.  We also offer opportunities to explore contemplative Christian spirituality.
