Activities
Activities are to conserve, protect and improve Primrose Lodge, and the streams/watercourses of the Mearley Brook catchment for the advancement of environmental protection/improvement for the benefit of the public and its recreational use. Also to advance the education and understanding of its flaura/fauna and biodiversity, and the need for/benefits of its conservation/protection.
Objects: The Objects For Which The Charity Is Established Are: -(1) To Conserve, Protect, Rehabilitate And Improve Primrose Lodge, The Streams, Watercourses And Water Impoundments Of The Mearley Brook Catchment For Theadvancement Of Environmental Protection Or Improvement For The Benefit Of Thepublic.(2) To Advance The Education Of The Public, Or Any Association, Institution, Voluntary Organisation, Company, Local Authority, Administrative Or Governmental Agency Or Public Body Or Representative Body In: -(A) The Understanding Of Primrose Lodge, And The Mearley Brook Catchment,including Its Fauna, Flora, Biochemistry, Economic Or Social Activity, Andriver Catchment Management.(b) The Need For, And Benefits Of, Conservation, Protection, Rehabilitation Andimprovement Of Aquatic Environments.(3) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability,financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.
