**Activities:** BOMSS is a society of surgeons and other health professionals whose educational and research activities provide a valuable trusted resource for patients and promote the highest standards of expert care for those living with severe and complex obesity.  As the UK's internationally recognised bariatric society we inform national policy through provision of expert advice to a variety of bodies.
