**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN ENGLAND AND WALES WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM A CANCER DIAGNOSIS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF SHORT BREAKS AND RESPITE ACTIVITIES FOR THE REFERENCED INDIVIDUALS AND BY EXTENSION THEIR FAMILIES AND BY GRANTS AND OTHER AWARDS.

**Activities:** The aim of the Foundation is to help young people (between the ages of 16-25) and their families through what will be one of the most difficult times in their lives. Through their grant funding The Foundation will offer individuals the chance to have a little time away from the draining effects of hospital visits, treatment schedules and try and make up some of the time spent away from family.
