**raising awareness in the community and**

**secure, with a higher surplus than in**
**previous years. Over the period, it**
**received around £5,957 in donations,**
**and it was able to distribute around**
**£4,460 in grants, a lower amount**
**compared to the previous comparable**
**period as a result of a stronger pound in**
**relation to the Mauritian rupee and**
**given our intention to support a third**
**charity (hence slightly reducing our**
**contributions to our two current**
**charities). We are in the process of**
**identifying a third charity in Mauritius to**
**support.**
**The charity had no expenses charged to**
**it. The charity has received regular**
**monthly donations throughout this**
**period as well as a one-off donation**
**from one donor to be distributed to a**
**charity of the donor’s choosing. At the**
**end of period, the charity’s bank**
**balance stood at around £2,809, which**
**enables it to continue helping its two**
**chosen beneficiaries with the capacity**
