The prlnclpal objective of The Yamani Project Is poverty alleviatlon in Forniaya, Bonth
Dlstrlrt of Slen7 Leone. The charlty focuses on designlng and supporting sustainable
programmes aimed at Improving the welfare and long-tenn resllience ofdisadvantaged
women and children in the village.

The trnstees confim that thry have complled wlth thelr duty under the CharIties Act to
have due regard to the Charity Commission's guidanee on public benefit. The charitys work
direct]y benefits dlsadvantaged household8 in Forniaya by Improving welfare, opportunlty,
and communlty resllience.
4. Achievements and Performance
The charity made meaningful progre￿ during the year despite operating on a small scale.
The Yamani Project continued engagement with communlty groups in Forniaya, supported
inltiatives aimed at improving basic livtng conditlons. and contributed to projects
supporting women's livelihoods and chddren's wellbein&

ensure resources are used solely to fvrther the charitys purposes.

The charity aims to maintain modest reserves sufficient to cover essentlal costs and ensure
contlnuity of support for progrnmmes In Slerra Leone. The tnistees review the reserves
annually.
7. Risk Management
The trustees monitor rlsks assodated wlth operatlng internatlonally, Includlng financial
ontrols, compliance. and delivery challenges. Measures are in place to ensure funds are
Used appropriately and partnerships are responsibly managed.
8. Plans for the Future
In the coming year. The Yamanl Prolert alms to advance sustainable. community-led
initiatives for women and children, deepen engagement with local stakeholders. and
Identify small-scale, hi8h-Impart projects that support long-tern? poverty reduction.
