The advancement of amateur sports by increasing community participation. The main activities undertaken for the public by this charity are the provision of grants of up to £250 to develop and support local groups on Anglesey.
The charity trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

Grants are awarded following an application process where-by suitable grops complete an application form, and commit to providing proof of expenditure following receipt of the funds.
Grant amounts are limited to £250 per application, per calendar year.

Section D Achievements and performance
## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**
This has been our first year of trading as a charity and as such we are extremely pleased with the success of the venture. We have seen a huge level of support for the charity from the local community and have taken pleasure in being able to support a large number of organisations.
We are a not-for-profit charity and all money raised is shared out via application processes or remains in the bank to be used during the next round of applications if there is a surplus amount.
During December 2020, it was noted that we had a substantial amount of money in the bank and as such we took the decision to share an additional amount specifically to care homes on Anglesey. These beneficiaries were chosen due to the fact that we had received very low numbers of applications in respect of objective 2 at this point.
During the period we have been lucky to be supported by a volunteer who has enabled us to increase the number of items we were able to sort and sell.
During the height of the pandemic we ceased operations for a period in order to safeguard the safety of all concerned and worried that this would be detrimental to the success of the charity, however, the opposite happened and we now have more than 1,000 members on our Facebook group.
We are proud to say that we have shared over £11500 with local deserving causes during this financial period.
In response to our charitable objectives, we are proud to have been able to support the follow number of applications from each objective,

We aim to share all money raised with organisations and groups on a quarterly basis. Any money not claimed remains in the bank to be used towards the next round of applications. As a charity, we do not have a policy for keeping funds in reserve at this time.

The charities only sources of funding are through selling donated items through an online charity group on Facebook, and occasional pop up shops or car boot sales.
The expenditure has fully supported the key objectives of the charity as all money donated to groups is given solely on the basis of the applications supporting the criteria for the funding.
