During the period, the trustees delivered several activities that benefitted the public. Among those were: - Ramadan awareness programs for adults and youth - Provision of Iftaar programme benefitting over 100 people during Ramadhan - Celebration of 2 Eid festivals and congregations **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** - Islamic education workshops and classes benefitting over 100 people - Arabic language classes - Youth programmes including recreational activities - Social meetings to increase connectivity of young people, women and those who are isolated - Establishing the Eid Gift, Fithra and Feed a Family support projects of the needy benefitting over 2,900 families - Qurbani Project benefitting 1,064 families - Zakat project benefitting 8 families - Completed a community building project. During the period, the charity had expenditure of £34,654 and loans were given to a partner charity of £30,000. At the end of the period, the charity generated a deficit of £6,761 which was met with prior year surpluses. The charity had restricted reserves of £23,792 and unrestricted reserves of £52,480.
