**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE PUBLIC’S APPRECIATION OF THE ART OF FOLK MUSIC BY:1. PROVIDING FOLK MUSIC ACTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO PERFORM AT CONCERTS, FESTIVALS AND OTHER EVENTS; AND 2. INCREASING PUBLIC ACCESS AND EXPOSURE TO FOLK MUSIC THROUGH DEVELOPING, PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING ITS PRACTICE. THE TERM “FOLK MUSIC” INCLUDES BOTH CONTEMPORARY AND TRADITIONAL FORMS.

**Activities:** To advance the public's appreciation of the art of folk music by- providing folk music acts with the opportunity to be able to perform at concerts, festivals and other events- increasing public access and exposure to folk music through developing, promoting and encouraging its practice.The term 'folk music' includes both contemporary and traditional forms.
