**Objects:** 1. (a)the provision and maintenance of social housing in the form of almshouse accommodation for older persons who are in need, hardship or distress who are resident in Budleigh Salterton, East Budleigh, Otterton, Colaton Raleigh and Bicton (“the area of benefit”); and(b) such exclusively charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) for the benefit of residents appointed by the CIO or a sufficient section of them as the charity trustees from time to time see fit.2.        to provide financial assistance towards the cost of care and home care services, facilities and associated amenities and to fund the provision of residential care to support older persons of limited means in the area of benefit.

**Activities:** The Trust provides grant funding to older people for their accommodation or care, particularly those in financial need, those who are frail or with disabilities, who live in Budleigh Salterton, East Budleigh, Otterton, Colaton Raleigh or Bicton. It is indiscriminate as to age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
