Chairman's annual report RYFC This year RYFC has worked with St Stephen's Church - and many other Churches - as part of the strategic partnership to facilitate successful meetings and build relationships between Christian educationalists. We have also mapped out and developed strategic alliances between schools and churches and prayed daily for them for seven months. We held the first RYFC / St Stephen's meeting in the Autumn of 2025 in conjunction with the Association of Christian Teachers (ACT) for around 70 people. We then set up a follow on meeting to develop links between churches and schools. We mapped out and planned strategic alliances between Churches and Schools in the Redditch area. This gave rise to the Redditch Christian Youih Network. The Redditch Christian Youth Network is now a group of 32 people, mostly from Churches and Youth groups in Redditch, who are committed to praying daily for Churches and Schools across the town. Three of the RYFC trustees have led the daily prayers since January 2026. This fulfi"Is one of the original aims of RYFC to 'pray unceasingly for Redditch,. We have also further cemented our international links with our partners in Portugal: Bishop Afonso, his wife Elizabeth and the Good Shepherd Academy. A further link has been developed with a Pastor / Missionary in Madeira Portugal. Both partners are involved in the daily prayers for the Youth of Redditch. We see the rhythm of daily prayer as a vital ministry in the town. We have also worked with St Stephens in evangelistic and outreach events across the town. htt www.cofe-worcester.or news sharin e-in-redditch. h We have witnessed a surge in Youth engagement through the Lightbox initiative. We have seen links forming there between schools and churches. We were also involved working with the St Stephen's Youth Pastor in a very successful Youth Alpha course at St Stephen's. We also used football as a tool for the Gospel involving many young people and their parents during the highly successful Oasis Christian festival. I handed out over 200 'Who is the GOAT?, Tracts. Further events with football are being planned over the summer with St Stephen's Youth Pastor, The Lightbox initiative and RYFC.
