One of the students mentored by the previous Director for RYFC has passed her first year
Theology Degree at Elim 8ible College, Malvern and is very much involved with Christian
work in the town of Redditch. The Chair and his wife were involved, throughout the year, in
mentoring her with her studies.
RYFC Trustees have been in discussion and prayer over the past year with the new Vicar of St
Stephen's Redditch, Dr Fraser Oats, who is leading an exciting and visionary renewal project
in Redditch. It is so encouraging to see God moving in the town.
We are delighted that Dr Fraser will be working in partnership with RYFC. Rev Dr Fraser Oats

As we had previously discussed, we would like to moveforward with o model of "linked
chorities" working together via o mutuolly ogreed Memorondum of Understonding. We
would like to propose thot l (Froser) become o trustee of Redditch Youthfor Christ, ond in
turn, we would like to invite Ron to become a trustee of the Redditch Renewal Churches Trust
(St Stephen's). The link of trusteeship will guorontee on integration of choritoble objectives
cjnd missional direction. Of course, becoming linked trustees mean5 we would be contending
for thefruirfulness and success of each chority t7nd the specifics of their existence. But os we
hove identified, in simple terms, we ore both possionote obout reochlng young people with
the Gospel of Christ and Seeing the church in Redditch thrive. Only by nuance of demogrophic

We are looking forward to discernlng the next steps as we seek to renew the vision for RYFC
and seek the Lord's will for its future direction and work. It's a very exciting times as God is
clearly moving in Redditch.
