Objectives and Activities
Youth Against Crime Not Crime Against You (YACnCAY) is a charitable organisation established to support young people and communities through education, mentorship, community engagement, and charitable outreach activities. The charity seeks to empower individuals, promote positive life choices, and provide practical support to vulnerable communities both within the UK and internationally.
The trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit and are satisfied that the charity's activities have provided public benefit in furtherance of its charitable objectives.
Achievements and Performance
During the year, YACnCAY continued to deliver activities aligned with its charitable aims.
Key achievements included:

Supporting community outreach initiatives, including food bank activities for vulnerable individuals and families.

Providing financial support for orphanage projects and refurbishment activities.

Supporting educational and community engagement events that promoted youth development and social inclusion.

Maintaining the charity's online presence through the development and upkeep of its website.

Delivering charitable programmes through the support of donors, volunteers, and grant-funding organisations.
The charity remains committed to supporting disadvantaged communities and creating opportunities for young people through education, engagement, and community-based interventions.
Financial Review
The charity received total income of £18,718.83 during the year. Income was generated through donations, Gift Aid recovered from HMRC, grants, and other charitable contributions.
Total expenditure during the year was £17,980.00, which was applied directly to the charity's objectives, including community outreach activities, food bank support, orphanage projects, educational events, and administrative costs.
The charity recorded a surplus of £738.83 for the year.
At 8 September 2025, the charity held unrestricted funds of £1,143.82.
Reserves Policy
The trustees aim to maintain sufficient reserves to meet ongoing commitments and ensure the continued delivery of charitable activities. Given the size of the organisation, reserves are currently held to provide financial stability and support future projects.
Structure, Governance and Management
The charity is governed by its constitution and managed by its board of trustees. The trustees are responsible for the overall management, strategic direction, and financial oversight of the charity.
Trustees meet as required to review activities, monitor finances, and ensure that the charity operates in accordance with its charitable objectives and legal obligations.
Plans for the Future
During the next financial year, YACnCAY intends to:
