Youth Against Crime not Crime Against You (YACnCAY) is a dynamic and forward looking charity and was set up in June 2010, following reports that members within the community and local churches had been victims of crime.  The organization’s work is guided by a belief in the Power of Prayer, direct action and developing close partnerships with statutory and third sector organizations to meet the needs of young people, as well as supporting government initiatives to reduce gun and knife crimes in London’s communities and beyond. 

YACnCAY is committed to enabling those who use its services to achieve and maintain quality standards; creating opportunities to expand the level of services it delivers and shares its knowledge and experiences with other similar organisations. 

YACnCAY strengths are peer mentoring and hundreds of young people nationally and internationally benefit from this support. 

YACnCAY conducts monthly programs, which are wide ranging from online inspirational talks with agencies including the police to supporting local foodbanks and empowering the youths through workshops. 

YACnCAY Trustees, ambassadors and volunteers meet yearly for its Annual General meeting to update and plan for the year ahead. 

YACnCAY works closely with Barrister Isaac Abiodun Onibokun Foundation in Nigeria to deliver the support for disadvantaged young people, through the support of an Orphanage and Youth Empowerment Centre, where much of the fundraising goes to.
