**Objects:** THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("OBJECTS") ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING:FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE LIVING IN THE PARISH OF PORINGLAND BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO FURTHER THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES.(1) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF WINTER FUEL PAYMENTS TO THOSE IN NEED.(2) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.

**Activities:** Awarding grants to individuals, groups or students of the parish of Poringland who can demonstrate need or hardship.  We also award post 18 student grants to residents of Poringland to support their studies.  We also award annual Winter Fuel Payments to residents who can demonstrate need or hardship.
