Structure, management and governing d(Kurnent The tNstees who held office in the year and up to the date of this report and the governing document are detailed in the charity infom]ation on page 2. b. The tte¢S consist of the ministerfs) (if any), the elder5 and the deacons. These appointmenls are madc by the members. New trusiges are inducted by the existing trustee Ix)dy. 2. Objectives and activities The main objcctives of the charity as set out in its governing document are: The advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. b. The Church may also advance education and carry oul oiher charitable purposes in the United Kingdom andlor other parts of the world. 3. Achievements and r*rfornance The main achievements of the charity in the account&ng period were: The church has been meeting regularly on Sunday mornings and attendances have kept up. We still meet online for church prayer rneetings, and for members, rneelings during the winter months. b. Throughout the year, the church w&s actively seeking a new minister. and were in contact with a few candidates. We have been assisied by Rev Simon Harri4 our Moderator. The church has sold the Manse in Falcon Street and purchased a new Manse at 22 Iris Road. d. A range of visiting SkerS have joined us for Sunday services" we have also used video scrnjons. Members of the leadership team often I worship and occasionally preach. Supw)rt for our regular home groups has been maintained. The monthly lea and cake and ¢raft tea events have proved popular. and attract some non- church goers. f. The numtr of members at 31° March 2025 w&8 54 {54 at 31. March 2024) 4. Financial review The wlicy of the charity is to maintain 3 months of expenditure (typically about £16K) as cash reserves. As at 31" March 2025, the Ggsh reserves were £39K which meant that the wlicy w&5 achieved. b. During the year to 31 March 2025. there was a net inflow of funds of £9K (compared to £21K in the previous year). Monetary control All money received during the weekly collection i5 chked by 2 people. ii. All payments made through the bank are authorised by 2 people. iii. Quarterly acUnts are prepared for and reviewed by the ehartty. The yearly accounts are reviewed by an independent examiner and are adopted by the Church members.
