The board of trustees submit their annual report together with their income and expenditure account for the year ending January 2025

## **OBJECTIVES** 

Voice of Hope Ministry is an independent, non denominational Christian Church who presents and teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ. Voice of Hope objectives are: 

- To advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public in accordance with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

- To relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind, including the provision of counselling and support in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit. 

- To provide humanitarian aid to the needy. 

- To lead willing people to the Church of Jesus Christ 

- To help Christ loving people to grow as mature Christians. 

- To Heal the brokenhearted. 



## **SUMMARY OF THE MAIN ACTIVITIES**

## **WORSHIP SERVICE** 

The Church Congregation meets Twicw regularly every Sunday for the Sunday Worship Service 

- Purley Scout Hall, 53-55 Purley Park Road, CR8 2BW 10;30 Am to 12;30PM 

- Highway Vineyard Church, 88A Romford Road E15 4EH, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM and on facebook livestream. 

## **HOUSE GROUP** 

Voice of Hope has established six house groups led by a house group leader. The group meet for discipleship training on Intentional Moves by G12 guideline and fellowship to encourage, support and develop each other in any aspect of their Christian life. 

## **YOUTH MINISTRY** 

The young people of Voice of Hope aged from 13 years old to 21 years old meet every Friday evening from 7pm to 9pm by Zoom and in person at 13 Walton Road, Upton Park, London E13. The objective of the youth ministry is to encourage young people to be out of the street; to grow with the knowledge of Christ, to develop their 



gifts and talents, to reach out to the youth in our area of influence and to grow as confident matured Christians. 

The Youth Ministry has the following activities: 

- Dance and Music lead by May Dela Cruz and Christina Caberto 

- Personal Development Training lead by Pastor Gloria and Diana MartinAdriano 

## **PRAYER GROUP** 

Voice of Hope has a Prayer Meeting every Wednesday night by Zoom and in person Highway Vineward Church 88A Romford Road, E15 4EH, at from 7:00 - 9:00pm, Saturday Dawn Watch by Zoom 6:00 - 8:00am. 

## **EVANGELISTIC NIGHT** 

Voice of Hope has a evangelistic night every Tuesday night 7:00 - 8:30pm by facebook livestream. 

## **HOSPITAL MINISTRY** 

Voice of Hope Ministry has a Hospital Ministry that visits sick people in their homes or hospital and provide moral support and prayers. 

## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE** 

Voice of Hope Ministry is committed in reaching out to people in need regardless of race, belief and status in life without coercion into the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Church started with a few members and now increasing in numbers. 

The Youth Ministry continues to be strong. We have more than 20+ youth who attend the Friday Youth Ministry by Zoom and in person. We believe that the Youth are the hope of the future generation. We teach them Christian values and various activities such as dancing, singing and playing games. We encourage young people to shine and cultivate their gifts and talents where we have Dance, Music and Sports and Personal Development Coaches to support their development. 

Voice of Hope Ministry embrace International Discipleship and mentoring by G12 Vision. 



## **FUTURE PLANS** 

Voice of Hope Ministry aspires to be more involved in the community work within East London especially with the Young People. We would like to have a permanent place to expand the Youth Ministry and generate funds to be able to expand the Youth Ministry and the Children Ministry.

The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 January 2025. ## **1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES** 

## **Basis of preparing the financial statements** 

The financial statements of the charity, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102) 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019)', Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland' and the Charities Act 2011. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. 

## **Income** 

All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Activities once the charity has entitlement to the funds, it is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably. 

## **Expenditure** 

Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the charity to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement and the amount of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular headings they have been allocated to activities on a basis consistent with the use of resources. 

## **Taxation** 

The charity is exempt from tax on its charitable activities. 

## **Fund accounting** 

Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees. 

Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted purposes within the objects of the charity. Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes. 

Further explanation of the nature and purpose of each fund is included in the notes to the financial statements.

## **Voice of Hope January 2025** 

The charities trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts.  The charities trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the charities act 2011 and that an independent examination is needed. 

It is my responsibility to 

- Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act 

- To follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the charity commission under section 145(5) b of the 2011 Act; and 

- State whether particular matters have come to my attention 

My examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission.  An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of accounts presented within those records.  It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters.  The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below. 

In connection with my examination, no matters have come to my attention; 

This gives me reasonable cause to believe that all material respects the requirements below: 

- To keep accounting records in accordance with the section 130 of the 2011 Act; and 

- To prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act
