Para 1.18 | The trustees are keen to make sure that we are doing what we can to continue to support our local community by being able to offer free courses to individuals, and helping to build better community and allowing access to fitness and training. Following the lockdown, we are wanting to help people who have suffered with mental health or with their cost of living and having to pull back on outgoings but want to get back into some fitness. By offering free courses we are able to allow people to still access facilities. We have also been supporting families on low income by feeding children once a week for free with the current financial climate. |

Para 1.20 | We have been able to work with individuals who have previously been discriminated against because of disabilities, but we have been able to allow them to come to us, by having an open door and allowing them to try our activities. We don’t see people’s disabilities but their abilities. We have also run free courses and allowed individuals to take part in charity fight nights, following their training with us. This has allowed for those who have had free training and access to our activities take part in a fight night to raise money for other charities. We have been running free courses for young people to attend after school and once a week we also provide a packed lunch to each child to help low income families with the current financial climate which are causing families to struggle to feed everyone, so after training we will then feed the children, which helping children still access the course but also to help ease some pressure from parents with 1 less meal during the week to feed children. |

Para 1.21 | We have had 1 grant over the year, which have allowed us to get some equipment and to cover expenses of volunteers to run free courses over the year, as some of the money that was in at the start of the year was previous year grant money for courses that was running. |
