**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OF BABIES FROM UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS IN PREGNANCY, BY SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF INNOVATIVE TECHNIQUES TO HELP IDENTIFY CONDITIONS WHICH, WITHOUT INTERVENTION, MAY RESULT IN HARM, STILL-BIRTH OR NEONATAL DEATH.

**Activities:** We aim to improve the practical, non-invasive and medically appropriate monitoring of biological signals in babies during pregnancy to detect unexpected problems, to increase our understanding of the role that these signals play in health or illness, and allow early diagnosis and treatment.
