Para 1.20 | ● Conversations are ongoing about the potential to build and have our own club in the town. ● Successfully ran 3 teams in the Leicestershire League. ● The Club Handicap Tournament ran for the third time with 24 entrants including Men, Women and Juniors. ● Junior coaching sessions have continued to go well with 26 young players, aged from 3 to 15, involved in coach-led sessions each week. ● We have run a coach-led ladies squash nights a week with 35 signed up. ● We’ve also run a weekly coach-led ‘improver’ training session with 25 signed up. ● Internal leagues had an average of 69 players involved. ● Squash coaching sessions are popular with around 27 people benefitting. ● We’ve had 5 coaches involved: 3 paid and 2 volunteers. ● We have attracted several ‘new to squash’ players as well as several returners ● 1 young sports leader and 2 juniors on their Duke of Edinburgh award mentored in the year. |
