Para 1.20 | ●Conversations are still ongoing about the potential to build and have our own club in the town. ●Junior coaching sessions have continued to go well with 32 young players involved in 2 diferent sessions each week. ●We have run 2 coach-led ladies squash nights a week with 35 signed up. ●We’ve also run a weekly coach- led ‘improver’ training session with 17 signed up. ●Successfully ran 4 teams in the Leicestershire League. ●Internal leagues had an average of 69 players involved. ●Squash coaching sessions are popular with around 35 people beneftting. ●Club Tournaments run for the |
second time for Men, Women and Juniors. ●We ran summer training sessions from June - August with 12 involved each week. ●We’ve had 9 coaches involved: 7 paid and 2 volunteers. ●In terms of growth and new players joining: ●We have 24 ‘new to squash’ players since Dec 2023 ●We have had 25 ‘returners’ since Dec 2023 ●22 BME players/coaches (across all categories) ●1 young sports leader and 2 juniors on their Duke of Edinburgh award mentored in the year.
