1. Weekly youth and young people meeting and a biweekly divine cleaving services has been organised to teach and train them to be good and godly persons as well as law abiding citizens. 2. Quarterly book review was organised for the youth to help inculcate a good reading culture into them 3. Youth week celebrations were held in which various activities such football, basketball, netball, singing and dancing, preaching, feasting etc were organised to foster their holistic development. 4. Weekly church services were organised to ensure good social and spiritual wellbeing of members. 5. Marriage and singles seminar was organised. Several marriage and other counselling sessions were organised with tremendous impact on the members and the |
community. This shall be an ongoing exercise to help alleviate the numerous challenges faced by both marriages and singles alike. 6. The men fellowship organised one seminar on understanding the role and responsibilities of parents and children in a contemporary world; as well as understanding the work of social services and families/ raising godly children in a civilised society. Other seminars such as financial management and understanding the need for a healthy lifestyle in the male population was held. 7. In addition, the Men of honour fellowship organised monthly meetings to help equip the men to function positively in a changing society. 8. The ladies fellowship likewise organised several programs to foster and improve the general, mental social and spiritual wellbeing of the modern-day woman. This was attended by members and the public alike. This is also intended to be a yearly event. 9. Several babies and children were christened and dedicated to the Lord. Ten persons were baptised in water. 10. Bereaved families and persons were supported and counselled the clergy, leaders and our internal welfare department leaders. 11. Children dance club which was inaugurated a year before continuous to help the children department. This meeting is continuous. Children’s week was held in which the children were trained to lead various activities with the view to developing them to be good future leaders in the community. A quiz was held for them in which various winners were rewarded on merit. 12. A community-oriented barbeque was organised in the year under review. Food bank ‘dubbed love feast’ was organised in which members and the public were treated with hot meals from different ethnic and nationals. This
| was amidst music, dancing, and social networking. 13. Community outreach with the good news of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ was organised on four separate occasions by the outreach team using tracts, one to none and the use of the social media. A monthly family service is organised in which families are prayed for as well as parents praying for children and supported. Etc. The church complex was refurbished and upgraded to make it comfortable and modernised for the worshipers and community. A thorough maintenance of the outside and inside of the brick, pointing and coating works were carried out. Also, facial gutters of the church complex were carried out. Four windows were upgraded to double glazing. The PA systems of the church were also upgraded. The audio-visual department also was upgraded with new equipment and cameras. The cost dynamics of these are captured in the accounts of the Church. About 365 adults and young parishioners are recorded on our roll, even though some of these have relocated to other parts of UK. About 98 children are also on our roll. The church enjoyed an increase of 15% growth in the adult and youth population, and about 9% increase in the children population |

| Fundraising was basically through the generous contribution of members. Not a specific target set but the basic needs were generously met. It is worth noting that the final charge on the church complex has been fully paid, and the charge removed accordingly. The church bus which was on hire purchase has been fully paid and all maintenance works carried out accordingly. New set of furniture has been purchased for the Children department of the charity to accommodate the increase in the number of children. A new PC and printer were acquired for the charity. |
