## **Structure Governance and Management** 

Urban Learning Youth is a C I O and trustees are selected by appointment . The trustees are responsible for overseeing the charity’s activities and deciding how the funds are spent. The day to day running of the charity is left to the Senior Managing Officer of the Charity who works in collaboration with an administrative staff, some part time staffs (all volunteers) and people on placement for academic and work experience reasons.

## **Administrative Information** 

The charity is situated at  104 Sydenham road, London SE26 5JX 

Objectives and Activities: 

To act as resource for young people living in London and other major cities in England and Wales by providing advice and assistance through educational training, sports, and other activities as a means of advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent mature and responsible individuals.

Activities completed: 

## **After School:** 

We ran a 12-month after school support programme in Lewisham borough, where we helped 45 young people complete school homework every Tuesday and Thursdays 

## **Youth Alive** : 

Our Youth project engaged 30 disadvantage youths in activities aimed at empowering them, building their self-esteem and teamwork abilities. We were able to refer Ten (10) Youths to various Football teams. 

## **IT and ESOL,** 

We are still hoping to secure funding, so that we can run these trainings. We however offer help to walk-ins in these domains. 

## **Financial review** 

In the last financial period, Urban Learning Youth has been able to secure funding to meet some of its objectives. The Charity had income of £9500.00
