Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.	Para 1.17 and 1.19	We made donations to several charities and Lions initiatives. We worked with Young Ambassador winners Destiny and Ashton on their projects. Our other activities were vast and varied, including the continued production and sales of bird boxes, knitting items such as clothing for premature babies, gleaning and supporting other Lions clubs with their activities. Our Club organised District Convention for the second year running. Our branch club in Cambridge were involved in various activities including spectacle recycling and Easter Egg raffles.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	We made donations to: - Young Lives vs Cancer - Brain Tumour Research - Prostate Cancer – two of our members completed a sponsored bike ride and raised £1500 in total, including a donation from our club As well as donating to several Lions initiatives: - District Disaster Fund which provides support for community disasters such as major floods or fires. - District Governor’s Wife’s Appeal – this was for Cardiomyopathy UK - Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) which supports large-scale humanitarian projects We worked with the Young Ambassador winner Destiny who helps families in hospital with sick children. We continued to work with previous Young Ambassador winner Ashton, providing tools to help with his project. One member of the club continues to make bird boxes and we sold these throughout the year. Several members knit various items for charity, such as clothing for premature babies A set of Wild Tribe educational books were donated to a school. As usual, we supported several other Lions clubs with their activities and got involved with some gleaning days. Our club organised District Convention for the second year running which took some attention away from our usual fundraising and service activities.

Our branch club in Cambridge were involved in various activities such as spectacle recycling (including the cases being recycled to make period poverty packs) and Easter Egg raffles.
