Activities

The Charity aims to educate members of the public on the First World War. Membership not only provides exclusive content and a forum on which to engage on the conflict, but help to fund our charitable aims. Every year, four issues of "Salient Points", the Great War Group Journal are produced, virtual and in person tours are undertaken, an annual UK conference is held along with many other events.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Subject Of The Great War By Providing Conferences, Seminars And Educational Material To Facilitate Education And Learning In The Subject Of The Great Was.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
