Objectives and Activities
To manage Fulletby Glebe field for the recreational benefit of the community and the public, as well as maintaining trees and hedges, and enhancing the wildlife habitats.
The field is used as a village green, and for fundraising events and fetes to support the upkeep of the field itself, the parish church and other local projects such as the Henry Winn Legacy. It is open to ramblers using the Viking Way land and continues to be freely available for the health, wellbeing, and the enjoyment of all. Operational maintenance of the field is managed by a management group consisting of all FGT Trustees and associate volunteers from the community.
The trustees confirm that they have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.
Achievements and Performance
Since the purchase of the field in July 2021, Fulletby Glebe Field has continued to be used freely by the local community for recreational purposes. The necessary purchase of public liability insurance has been made using funds held by the charity.
Funds for such expenses have been raised by holding a raffle at a social event.
The Parish Council successfully supported the application and instalment of a litter bin, supplied, and maintained by East Lyndsey District Council.
A social picnic event was held in honour of HRH the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on the field. Music and children’s games and activities were enjoyed by both Fulletby and local villagers, family, and friends.
The field has been maintained and the grass cut regularly through the growing season.
Operational Terms of Use were agreed to ensure fair and safe use and enjoyment of all, in accordance with the sellers’ covenants.
Financial Review
Cash reserves at the period end are £1,219.28, half of which is earmarked for maintenance and public liability insurance. The Trustees’ policy is to hold reserves of at least £500 to cover ongoing maintenance costs and insurance.

Structure, Governance and Management
The Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation [CIO]. The Foundation Constitution is registered with and regulated by the Charity Commission. Trustees are to be elected from the residents of the village of Fulletby.
The Trustees have reviewed our procedures on internal financial controls, financial reserves, risk management, trustee expenses and conflicts of interest, and serious reporting.
