Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)	THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TENETS, PRACTICES AND PRINCIPLES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND THROUGH SUPPORTING AND PROMOTING THE USE OF CHURCHES AS FESTIVAL CHURCHES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND THE DELIVERY OF DIVINE SERVICE WITHIN THE CONSECRATED SPACES.
	The Trust has delivered a number of conference style meetings to promote the work pf the Trust and the Festival Church model. Attendees included senior Diocesan clergy, Diocesan lay staff, and Lay parish members, as well as other relevant stakeholder organisation who have a vested interest in supporting the Church of England and the use of church buildings for public benefit. Trustees attended Church of England Buildings Council and General Synods to support partnership working with the wider church to promote the Festival Church model. A website has been created, along with the creation of information and resources that people can refer to when exploring the Festival Church model. In conjunction with these online promotional resources, several Trustees have attended individual PCC meetings, and/or held online consultations to give advice to Parishes across the Church of England. The Chair of the Trust has met with a number of lead stakeholders to discuss how as a Trust with others, we can work together for the mutual public benefit and to support the mission and ministry of the Church of England in establishing the Festival Church model. Funding has been applied for to support the future work of the church, and a bank account has been applied for.
