The Charitywas constituted by Trust Deed on 21 September 2020 and registered with the Charity
Commisston under Charty Number 1191761.
There are no employees and the Trustees carry out the adminislrallon.
New trustees are to be appointed by Miss Eilish Flanagan, however appltcalions can be made on authorised
advertisernenl by all trustees. Allernativety, the existing trustee board may make invitations tr) individuals to
become a trustee, which are then decided by majotty vote.
The charity is proud to have continued working wlh The Institute of CaneeT Research and the E.SMART
trial, focusing on finding kinder and targeted Irealmenls for children wlh a childhood cancer diagnosis.
Due to the ever changing environment regarding soa81 medi8. the trustees have rewewed IheiT Soual Media
policy 8nd developed the existing policy to ensure the govemance of the charity is met al all times by all
trustees. Given that social media, is one of the major platform5 which our charty uses to raise gerrn cell
cancer awarene85. we felt as an organisation that the Iruslees required safety systems to be pul in place lo
proleet both the service users and the wider general public.

Reporling Serious Incidents
The Trustees can confirm that there have been no'serious in¢idenls' to report in the year ended 5 April 2025
as defined by the Charity Commission in their Guidance for Trustees issued 1 March 2012 and as updated 3
May2018.

The general objeclwes of the charity, as sel out in the Trust Deed, have been applied by the Trusl8es. in
order to support Cancer Charities and indiwduals wrth cancar. This is achieved by making grants to Cancer
Charities and indiwduals, purchasing grfts and item5 for children with gemi cell cancer and other foirns of
¢ancer and fvndraising events in order to raise awareness of childhood can¢èr.

The trustee's have developèd their roles in regards lo conflict of intere51 within the orgni5alion and aKhough
none have been identified within the organisation we are confident in our ability on Gonflicts and how to
approach and rr*anage thern should the occasion ever arise.
Aorfe's Bubbles Charity has successfully. continued lo benefrt the public through the past year by=

Proudty hosting regular awareness stands and distributing GCT & childhood cancer awareness information,
being the UK'S only childhood cancer charity lo raise awareness of GCT in children. We have successfulty
held slands in Suffolk, Essex, Kent. Surrey and London.
To continue offering support lo the InstitLrte of Cancer Research in terms of providing grants towards Ihe
ongoing research, for the EMSART trial for children with childhood cancer, particularty gemi CEII cancer
which falts in lo the sub category of solid lumour.
Offering day respite trips for children and their families affected by childhood cancer, we have been able to
offer more children respite by means of day trips to frt in with their t￿atment schedules, such as days out al
London Zoo. This opens the opportunity up WKlely to many more children tr) experience respite as a barrier
to this support can be their Irealmenl p￿n3
The trustees a￿ayS act in accordance with the Charities Act 2011, to undertake due diligence lo the
Charities Comission general guidance on publie benefft. The objectives and aclivilie5 to achieve this are
a￿ayS the forefront of Aoife's Bubbles Charty Iruslee5 delivery GCT and childhood cancer awarene55.
providing acts of joy and respite to thildren and their famllies affected by childhood Gancer and having
provisions to support GCT research.
Moving forwBrd, as wtrth pr8vious years- it is the Iwslee's aim to keep running costs to a minlmum lo enable
fund5 raised lo be spent on supporting children across the UK with 8 Cancer diagnosis and to continue,
raising lifesawng childhood cancer awareness- being the UK'S only registered children's cancer charity
d8diealed to raising GCT in children. To maintsin this 8ftd to continue the charities growth. we would like to
establish a volunteer, charity drwe over the next 24 months by recruiting volunteers lo help u$ lo distribute
germ eell cancer awareness material. particular￿ by using our Charty mascol'Bubbles'.

Within the last 12 months, Aorfe's Bubbles Charity has been able to adhere lo ourformal grant making policy
and to cor*linue to prowde an excellent senrice to the public, by promoting gemi cell cancer awareness in
children as well as Childhood cancer as a whole.
We have been able lo continue working wrth preirious volunteer Katie Putt, who has beèn an asset to the
charity by delivering gem cell cancer awareness Stands throughout E$￿X and London. As well 8$ aclrvety
seek further volunteers to represent the charty.
Aoife's Bubbles Gharity strives to invest funds, going fgrwards in our own respite facilty- being that of a
bèach hul for families lo use for day respite, taking away Iravell over night limitations and to accomrnod8te
children who are. in the final stsges of their cancerjoumey particularty those on palliatwe care.

Aorfe's Bubbles Charity are extremely proud of the achievements throughout the year ended 5 April 2025.
Throughout the year we were able to set up both manned 8w8reness stsnds and stand alone awareness
stands al garden eenlres, family fami trails doctors surgeries and offic8 blocks through out London, Kent.
Surrey, Essex and SLtffolk. Enabling the general public to access the awareness infomiation which we have.
we like lo act in a non conlrontational way lo en5ufe the public feel safe in approaching us, and having open
onvèrsattons about the irnportance of childhood cancer symptom awarene55 breaking down communication
ba¥riers.
Throughout the year thé eharty identified ihe need for the charty m¥$¢ot to have a gTealeT PTe5ence within
the general public and online lo ra15e the pitsfile of both the charty and of childhood cancer awareness,
ha￿ng had great support from the Equestrian community gt th¢ time of Aorfc's passing.
Through OUT social rnedia ¢hannels we were able to c￿Ordinate the hugely successful Ride ForAoffe,
which entailed people taking their horses on rides in their local communty wearing something gold to
represent childhood cancer and lo raise funds for the charty. This enable lo conversation of childhood
cancer Its develop further within local communities.
As we ahvays strive lo continue our support of the In51ilule of Cancer Research, we held a veteran football
match to raise £3,500 to help fund childhood cancer research. Where over 40 players dedicated their time lo
play foi the charity and to raise funds for this ¢aus8. the day was a huge Success with staff from the ICR
joining in IhÈ d8y.
We were also able lo host a famity friendly Firew8lk, where children and their families who had have 8
cancer diagnosis were able lo corne and lake part, as well as fundraisers who were able to lake part in the
challenge- this was a wonderful way lo bring the childhood cancer eommunity together with the general
population just before Christmas and lo ensure children over the festive period had access lo ￿spite days
oth, we were able lo fund children and their families visiting zoo's. the seaside and music concerts just to
name a few.
As per every year. the charty held its annual sky dwe event whith raised a healthy amount and enabled us to
send children on respite holrdays with their families.

We worked lirelessty around the dock and we were able lo, in ono month reach 1.7 million people acros5
the UK via our social rnedia channels on what childhood cancer awareness month Is and the signs and
symptoms ol childhood ¢an¢er, which is. without a doubt life saving information.
Overall. the charity has grown our online presence, ensuring we reach one of our target audiences- parents
and care givers. We have found, that a barrier to childhood c8n¢er awareness is the lack of understanding
with the terminology u5ed- so we have 51ripped back lo basics, what il means in a real tangible form to look
for the signs and symptoms of childhood cancer, as well as what to do if you are concemed for child who you
think is showing the signs and symplorns and how lo access 8 ￿ferra1 pathway. We have also been able lo
educate Ihe general public on childhood cancer, by means of lack of treatment options for children
speoficalty with solid and brain tumours and the importance of supporting family led charities who are pivotal
to supporting estsblishmen15 su¢h 35 The ICR.
Financial Review

Total funds carried forward were in a deficit of £80 as al 5 April 2025 {2024.. £4,864}. The cash balances at
Barclays Bank PIC and Metrobank were outyRighed by oui accountancy fee provlslon, payable In 12 monthty
instalments.
Having reviewed our accounts and practices, OUT main SOU￿ of 1Th￿)Me is through large and small
lundraising events held by the ¢harity. We work on the ethos of helping those who need it without prejudice
and expectation of having to fundraise for Aoife's Bubbles Charity.
Expendiluie is solely ￿lated lo the charitable aims by focusing on GCT awareness in children, being the Bole
UK children's cancer chorty dedicated lo raising GCT awarene55.
Moving forward. we will continue on working on building our rèserve with the long term goal of hawng a shop
where we can sell donated g¢)ods lo fundfaise for the charty and to ensure our service is a￿ayS fundeil.
W¢ slrivs lo ¢ontlnue lo b¢ leaders in the Il•ld for raislt)g germ cell cancer awareness in children.
To continue plans to work stsrt working l(Iwards purchasing our rèspite (beach hut) over the next 3
years, to allow us to help more families, green ethos etc. less wa51e and more funds lo ènablè further
projects such as writing awareness training wth GOSH for the medical community in particular students.
