New trustees a recommended and appointed by the existing trustees in accordance with the charity's constitution. All the trustees have been briefed on the legal set up of the charity and its constitLrtion and are awar8 of their obligations and responsibilities through Charity Commlssion publications. All trustees have completed fit and proper persons and confiicts of interest declarations. Objectlves and Actlvltles The objects of the charity ar8.. To advance the Christian farth To relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promotè and preserve good heafth To advance education To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare To promote racial hamiony and better undwstsnding. The Charity will engage in activities to achieve these objectives. These include making the chanty's premises available, free or at a charge. to organisations whose activities help meet the charity's objectives. The trustees have considered the guidance issued by the Charty Commission on publlc benefit and are fimly of the view that all its objectNes and activrties are for the public benefit. Aehl•v8m•nts During the year, Chichester District Foodbank moved to new premises and we replaced by a les- see Hope Church. A diversty event was held in May in partnership with Chichester Baty'st Church which was well attended. A final report has been issued to the Sussex Community Foundation in re- spect to Iheir grant towards the diversity initiative. Th8 Rede8m8d Christian Church of Christ continued to use the building on most Sundays and Chichester Baptist Church continued to use it once a month for a Wellbeing Café. A local communty choir practised regularly at the centre and other, more occa- onal users, included olher local churches and SIdentS, assouations. Chichester Library ttired the hall for a period of 12 weeks. Toward5 the end of the year, a part-time marketing offi¢er was appolnted on a freelance basis. Flnanclal Rfrvlew The charty was largely fvnded in thè pethod by donations and the rent paid by Chichester Foodbank arKI Hope Church. The trustees regularly review likely income and expenses and have decided that, at this stage in the charity's development, it is advisable to keep £10.000 as a general rèserve and designate a further £10,000 for future major repairs and improvements. The cash balances held at the end of the year are Considered adequate gtven likely income and expenditures In 2026. 21 Orchard Street Chl¢ha8tor The transfer of 21 Orchard Street Chichester to the Charity was subject to legally binding conditions regarding the use of the building and with restrictions on sale. 11 follows that white it is legally the propety of the charity it k8 a restricted assot. The building remain5 the charity's major asset. During the

Rlsk Ass8um•nt The trustees have identified the major risks to which they believe the charity is exposed and systems have been established to minimise these risks. The risks and systems are fomally revi18d regularly. as appropriate. The principal risks relate to the building, the activrties carried out in the buildin9 and the income and expenses derived therefrom. Publlc Beneflt In shaping the charity's objectives and planning its activities the trustees have paid due ragard to the Charity Commission's guidan on public benefrt and section 4 of the Charrties Acl 2011. Reportlng SertOU8 Incldents In line with the Charity Commission's guidance on reporting serious incidents, the trustees declare that during the year there were no Serious incidents that they have failed to bring to the Commission's at- tention.
