Achievements The premises have continued lo be used fve days a week by the Chichester District Foodbank as Iheif distributson and admini5tratsve Cenire. A dNersity event was held in October in partnefship with Chichester Bapt1 Church attended ty over 200. The Redeeined Christian Cliurch of Christ used the building on Sundays for mst of the year and Chichester Bqotist Church continued to use it once or twice a month for a Wellbeing Calé. A local community choir piactised regulatly at the centfe and other. more occasionab users, incltthd uther local churches and SIdents. associalions and Chichester Co lege Chaplaincy. Flnancial Review The charity was largely lunded in the period by dorwlions and the rent paid by Chichester Foodbank. The trustees fegularfy review likety income and expenses and Iwe decided that. at this stage in the charity's development, it is athisable to keep £10,000 as a general reserve and designate a ftsrther £10,000 for future maj'oi repairs and improvements. The cash balances held at the end of the year are considered adequate given likety income and expendiluTes in 2024. 21 Orchard Strnet chiclter The transfer of 21 Ofchard street Chichester to the charity was subject to legaEly binding conditions regaTding the use ol the building and wtth restrictions on sale. It follows thal while it is legalty the propety of the charty it 15 a restricted as5eL The building remains the charity's major a55et.
