The charity acts as a collection hub for donated food, distributing excess to other foodbanks. The charity distributed vouchers to families with free school meals children during the summer school break, using funds provided by Household Support Grant through South Holland District Council. This was to support the purchase of school uniforms and general clothing

Basis of accounting These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention with items recognised at cost or transaction value. The aeeounts have been prepared in accordance with: * the Statement of Recommended Practice: knounting and Rep)rting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Repx)rting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issud on 16 Juty 2014 • and with the Charities Act 2011. The charity constitutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102. 2. Financial Policies 2.1. Reserves Although the Trustees still consider that it is not possible, at a time of great volatility for focMI banks, to determine the Reserves Policy for the Charity, they decided that, provided strict monitoring of its finances continued, the Charity had sufficient fLU]ds to decide that no grant funding would be applied for in the year. 2.2. Income. The charity has adopta standard accounting practices for income exeept that donations in kind have not been valued. The Trustees consider that the substantial effort r￿ll]red to place a value on donated goods would not be worthwhile. 3. During the year the Charity has supported 437 people (2024 - 374), many of them multiple times, with essential food parcels from our premises. In addition the Charity has: supplied 127 additional parcels at Christmas (2024 - 109) to needy clients and pensioners. 5. Funds administered as an Agent During the Year the Charity receiv￿ and distributed £20,000 (2024 £Nil) Household Support Funding from South Holland District Council.
