Adewunmipraise Foundaton focused on
improving the life chances of children and
families experiencing poverty and hardship.
The Foundaton ofered a network of
community provisions which provided poverty
relief, in the public interest, to children and
their families, especially in this tme of high
cost of living.
During this tme, due to the increase in high
cost of living and the efect it has on families,
we organised food parcels to support low-
income families and single parents in Medway.
We ran home delivery services to deliver
foodstuf.
In this period, we received many requests from
parents who were struggling with the
increasing costs of electricity and gas bills. We
provided support to address this fuel poverty
by topping up electricity and gas keys for
families in need, many of whom were came to
us for help or were referred at tmes of crisis.
We endeavour to make our services inclusive
across Medway by welcoming people of all
races, ethnicites, religious beliefs, genders,
sexual orientatons, and ages.
Wepromoted and used the strengths within
our communites by engaging with other
service providers such as Medway Foodbank,
The Medway Hygiene Bank, West Kent
Housing, In-kind Direct, and Cooperatve to
improve the lives of children and families.
A statement confirming
whether the trustees have
had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Commission on public
benefit
Para 1.18 The Foundaton worked diligently to deliver
high-quality provisions that support children
and families who have experienced poverty so
that we can restore their fundamental right to
have a beter life.
As a result of this, the foundaton, has all the
necessary policies, such as Children's
safeguarding, Vulnerable adult safeguarding,
Code of conduct, GDPR, and reports and
complaints. Also, the foundaton has a
Safeguarding lead who ensures that all policies
are adhered to.
The foundaton is a member of the Natonal

Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 In this fnancial year we ran the relief
programme in Medway by delivering support
packages such as foodstuf to low-income
families and single parents who are severely
impacted by the increase in high cost of living.
With the fund received from the Cooperatve
Community Grant and Groundwork UK (Tesco
Community Grant), we were able to distribute
support packages to about 80 families (165
children and 100 adults) in Medway.
The trustees are truly grateful to Cooperatve
Community Grant and Tesco Community Grant
who donated and made it possible to fulfl our
purpose to reach out and help children and
families who are in need. The support packages
and assistance make a huge diference for low-
income families and singleparents in Medway,

giving them practical help and hope. In furthering the object of the Foundation, we made connections with different networks in Medway such as Medway Voluntary Action, Mid-Kent Housing Association Wellbeing Team, Family Hub, and Foodbank for signposting and referrals so that the beneficiaries can continue to access longer-term support and solutions. We endeavour in the coming year to support more families.
