We  ran<br>home  delivery  services  to  deliver<br>foodstuff and other items to families.<br>The requests received in this period<br>were  overwhelming,  especially  from<br>parents  who  were  struggling  with<br>electricity  and  gas  bills  due  to  an<br>increment in energy prices and cost of<br>living.<br>We endeavour to make our services<br>inclusive across Medway by<br>welcoming  people  of  all  races,<br>ethnicities, religious beliefs, genders,<br>sexual orientations, and ages.<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>

We promoted and used the strengths<br>within our communities by engaging<br>with other service providers such as<br>Medway  Foodbank,  The  Medway<br>Hygiene Bank, West Kent Housing, In-<br>kind  Direct,  and  Cooperative  to<br>improve  the  lives  of  children  and<br>families.<br>A statement confirming  Para 1.18 The  Foundation  worked  diligently  to<br>whether the trustees  deliver  high-quality  provisions  that<br>have had regard to the  support  children  and  families  who<br>guidance issued by the  have experienced poverty due to the<br>Charity Commission on  high cost of living and prices so that<br>public benefit we  can  restore  their  fundamental<br>right to have a better life at the tie of<br>contact.<br>As a result of this, the foundation, has<br>all  the  necessary  updated  policies,<br>such  as  Children's  safeguarding,<br>Vulnerable  adult  safeguarding,  Code<br>of  conduct,  GDPR,  and  reports  and<br>complaints. In this second year of operation, we<br>continue  to  run  the  COVID-19  relief<br>programme in Medway by delivering<br>Summary of the main  Para 1.20 support packages such as  foodstuff,<br>achievements of the  clothing, toiletries, household<br>charity, identifying the  provisions, and other items (e.g. baby<br>difference the charity’s  items  for  new  parents;  maternity<br>work has made to the  items  for  pregnant  women) to  low-<br>circumstances of its  income  families  and  single  parents<br>beneficiaries and any  who  are  severely  impacted  by  the<br>wider benefits to society  high cost of living and energy prices.<br>as a whole.<br>During this time, we also managed to<br>get  donations  from  families  and<br>friends to support the good cause.<br>With  the  fund  received  from  Tesco<br>Community grants, Arnold Clark and<br>the general public, we were able to<br>distribute  support  packages  to<br>families (average children of 215 and<br>97  adults)  in  Medway  i.e.  the  total<br>number of people who benefited from<br>this  programme  was  312  including<br>the children.<br>These support packages made a huge<br>difference for low-income families and<br>single parents  in Medway  especially<br>with the knock-on effect of high cost<br>of  living  and  energy  prices,  giving<br>them practical help and hope.<br>In  furthering  the  object  of  the<br>Foundation,  we  made  connections<br>with  different  networks  in  Medway<br>such  as  Medway  Voluntary  Action,<br>Mid-Kent Housing Association<br>Wellbeing  Team,  Family  Hub,  and<br>Foodbank  for  signposting  and<br>referrals so that the beneficiaries can<br>continue  to  access  longer-term<br>support and solutions.<br>We endeavour in the coming year to<br>support more families.<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>
