as a whole.
During this time, we also managed to
get sports clothing from In-Kind Direct
and toiletries from The Medway
Hygiene Bank which enable us to
support a greater number of families.
With the fund received from the
public and support from other
organisations, we were able to
distribute support packages to 53
families (102 children and 56 adults)
in Medway. Namely, in our first period
of operation to July 2021, the total
number of people who benefited from
this programme was 158, including
the children.
The trustees are truly grateful to the
members of the public who donated
and made it possible to fulfil our
purpose to reach out and help
children and families who are in need.
The support packages and assistance
make a huge difference for low-
income families and single parents in
Medway, giving them practical help
and hope.
In furthering the object of the
Foundation, we made connections
with different networks in Medway
such as Medway Voluntary Action,
Mid-Kent Housing Association
Wellbeing Team, Family Hub, and
Foodbank for signposting and
referrals so that the beneficiaries can
continue to access longer-term
support and solutions.
We endeavour in the coming year to
support more families.
