**naturally reducing the future population. Our**
**Charity has organised these campaigns**
**independently inviting fully qualified Vets**
**from Italy and local volunteers and workers.**
**The dogs were micro chipped and treated**
**for internal and external parasites.**
**We have rehomed a number of dogs on the**
**Island that were living the Municipal**
**Kennels to responsible owners providing**
**support and education regarding the**
**appropriate care of animals. All rehomed**
**animals have contact details of our local**
**Charity Volunteers.**
**On going support and aftercare is offered to**
**all rehomed dogs.**
**The dogs in the Municipal Kennels continue**
**to be treated monthly for parasite**
**prevention all are neutered and we are**
**improving the living conditions and dietary**
**needs. A vet continues to visit weekly to**
**check on health and welfare.**
**This year we were given the use of a centre**
**to carry out medical care and neutering free**
**of charge for free roaming and also for the**
**animals owned by the poor families on the**
**Island. This is a massive stem forward for**
**our Charity and although rent free we have**
**raised and spent a lot of funds equipping it**

**dogs. All dogs were micro chipped,**

**unwanted puppies being born and**

**This not only benefits the dog**
**population that are already**
**malnourished and suffering but also the**
**public from the dangers of being bitten**
**by dogs gathering in packs looking for**
**food and fighting over un neutered**
**females. Less dogs also decreases the**
**amount of dog fouling in public places.**
**In the Municipal Kennels dogs now are**
**fed staple diets and are free from**
**infestation of ticks and disease and**
**starvation.**

**medical procedures which is a massive**
